Friends of Green Spaces Verschoyle Court is a non-profit group of individuals dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the public gardens surrounding Verschoyle Court in Dublin 2. We are a group of passionate volunteers who believe that these gardens are an essential part of our community, providing a place for residents to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy the outdoors.

Friends of Green Spaces is committed to continuously enhancing our community gardens to provide residents with even more opportunities to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of nature. In the coming months, we are excited to unveil a series of new amenities in Verschoyle Garden:

Illuminated Pathway: A new pathway will be installed, illuminated by solar-powered lights, providing a safe and well-lit space for residents to stroll through the garden even after dusk.

Efficient Irrigation System: 

An efficient irrigation system will be implemented to ensure that our plants receive the necessary hydration, conserving water resources and promoting sustainable gardening practices.

A tranquil water feature will be added to the garden, creating a soothing ambiance and attracting a variety of wildlife, further enriching the garden's ecosystem.

Organizing Composting Facilities

Friends of Green Spaces is committed to promoting sustainable practices within our community. To this end, we will be organizing composting facilities in our gardens, encouraging residents to recycle their food scraps and yard waste, transforming organic waste into nutrient-rich compost for our plants.
